This first photo was taken of me in 1950. I was 8 years old. I know that doesn't look right but I was very large for my age. If you can imagine a girl one head taller then all her classmates from 2nd threw 10th grade, that was me.
Now with that out of the way I will get on with my story. I was showing my husband some of the places I had been when I was a child, while we were back home last summer. As we were driving along the old members river road I started yelling, " stop!!!". I had spied this old wishing well where my father had taken my picture. We got out of the car and I set down where I had sat so many years ago. It was awesome. Charlie got the camera and took my picture. So that is how these pictures started. I just decided to put the two Me's together in one picture. I put the new, old picture of me into the old, young picture of me. Do you get that? I'm not sure I really do. Anyway I painted the old, young me and put the already painted new, old me into the picture of the old, young me.
What do you think? Should I have put the old, young me into the picture of the new, old me?
That way everything would have color. Let me know what you think. Beth
